MIDLAND FLOODLIT YOUTH LEAGUE
INTRODUCING THE MFYL
The league was established in 1982 to provide a platform for the youth (under 18) teams of a wide range of clubs from all levels.
Over 100 clubs have appeared in the league at various times since its formation, including Aston Villa, Birmingham City, Coventry City, Leicester City, Shrewsbury Town, Walsall, West Bromwich Albion and Wolves.
For the 2004/2005 campaign 41 clubs are taking part in four divisions.
Current clubs come from seven different F.A. counties - Birmingham, Gloucestershire, Herefordshire, Leicestershire, Shropshire, Staffordshire and Worcestershire.
